Elizabeth founded the brand by asking herself a question. How can I use my art and love for animals to help protect wildlife and nature? From that point, we have continued to bring products, categories and content to life with her art and our wildlife impact as the foundation for everything.

Today, Elizabeth Scarlett is a place where you will be given responsibility to learn, grow and shape the future of our brand and business. We work in a hybrid manner between our HQ, flexible and remote workspaces, and – despite our decade of growth – we are still at the beginning of our journey. Want to join us?

Elizabeth Scarlett exists to spread joy through beautiful, embroidered accessories while supporting and giving back to the beautiful animals that share our home.

We’re so proud to have been a part of our customer’s stories - from celebrating milestones to gifting moments. Together, we’ve transformed a love of art and embroidery into a wonderful community helping to support wildlife around the world.

Our Mission

By 2030, we are committed to donating £2 million to wildlife conservation. Everything we create helps protect endangered species, restore precious environments, and safeguard a wilder future. From the bees in London to the elephants in Kenya, we’re deeply committed to safeguarding the animals that inspire our designs, and the natural habitats they rely on to thrive.

We wouldn’t be here without each and every member or our wonderful team - and this is only just the beginning!

Meet Lizzie & Alex

Elizabeth Scarlett began with Lizzie's love of painting and wildlife, and a dream to bring more beauty and joy into people's everyday lives. What started as hand-illustrated cushions soon evolved into a global accessories brand built around nature, creativity, and kindness. From threading swing tags at her kitchen table to creating the iconic Everyday Pouch and launching 2% for the Wild, Lizzie followed her heart, one step at a time, shaping a brand that now connects thousands to the natural world.

Alex (Lizzie's husband & CEO) joined in 2020, bringing his background in scaling purpose-driven businesses. Together, they've blended Lizzie's artistic vision with Alex's strategic grounding to grow to a team united by joy, craftsmanship, and a shared mission to protect wildlife. A decade in, Elizabeth Scarlett is still guided by that same instinct and optimism, proving that when creativity meets purpose, magic happens.

Our Beating Heart

Our new HQ is the beating heart of what we do. While we love coming together, we are a hybrid-first company who only asks our team to meet in person once a week as standard, depending on your role.

Based in Potters Bar (just 24 minutes from King's Cross), we've built our dream office, a light-filled, purpose-built space next door to our warehouse, transformed from an old industrial building with the biggest, most beautiful windows you can imagine. It's bright, creative, and full of the energy that makes Elizabeth Scarlett, Elizabeth Scarlett.

We also offer access to free co-working spaces across London and beyond — giving you the freedom to choose where you do your best work.
