Growth Analyst
💰 Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 + bonus
🙋♂️ Reporting to: Jonny Sadler (eCommerce Director)
📍 Location: Potters Bar
🏙️ Office requirement: Hybrid, 2 days per week at HQ

At Elizabeth Scarlett, we are scaling our presence in the UK and US with the ambitious goal of raising £2 Million for Wildlife Conservation by 2030. We are looking for passionate, driven individuals eager to make an extraordinary impact and help us achieve this goal.
As our Growth Analyst, you’ll partner with our Growth & Leadership teams to define, build and share the tools and insights to help drive our ambitious growth goals.
You’ll report directly to our eCommerce Director, Jonny (ex allplants, Waldo, Oddbox and former growth and equity crowdfunding consultant), and be supported by our Marketing Director, Sophie (former Brand & Marketing Director at Papier & Glassette) and our CEO (formed Propercorn Brand Director and co-founder of allplants).
Working at the heart of growth marketing, strategy development, and analytics, you’ll help teams set and track goals while developing scalable systems for long-term success.
Sounds great, what will I be doing? 🤔
1. Own our Data & Analytics
- Setup and maintain our data infrastructure — primarily without data engineering but instead using self-serve tools
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to give real-time visibility into KPIs and enable deeper analysis
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency with checks, documentation, and best practices
- Transform raw data into actionable insights with SQL, Python (or equivalent)
2. Support Strategy with Ideas and Insights
- Analyse customer, product, and marketing data to identify trends, predict outcomes, and highlight growth opportunities.
- Provide clear, data-driven recommendations that help shape our product, marketing and growth strategy
3. Enable Growth & Leadership Teams
- Collaborate with Growth and Leadership to define KPIs, create reporting frameworks, and set ambitious targets.
- Act as the go-to analytics partner, fielding requests and proactively spotting insights to push our growth forward.
- Support data exploration across the business, enabling colleagues to self-serve insights wherever possible.
4. Champion a Data-Driven Culture
- Advocate for data integrity and best practices, fostering a culture where insights guide decision-making.
- Stay current on emerging analytics methodologies and tools, experimenting with new approaches to tackle challenges.
- Mentor and support teams in understanding data’s role in achieving our ambitious conservation and commercial goals.

What does the ideal hire look like? 🧳
Mindset: You’ll have an urgency and intensity to your work, a data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills. You’ll be a proactive, hands-on problem-solver with a collaborative mindset. You’ll have a bias to experimentation and measurable outcomes.
Creative passion: You get excited over lighting people up, challenging ideas and providing great customer experiences.
Skills: Strong SQL (or equivalent), Excel Formula and data modelling. Experience with TripleWhale, Shopify, BigQuery and using AI tools is a bonus. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, sharing insights through stories and visuals.

Experience: 5+ years working with growth and marketing teams, ideally within a high-growth startup environment (<100 people) or having followed an entrepreneurial pursuit yourself.
Location: Must live in London. We work from Potters Bar (24-min train from Kings Cross) and from workspaces around London Victoria.
