💰 Salary: £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience
🙋‍♀️ Reporting to: Senior Production Manager, Hannah Coombes
📍 Location: Potters Bar
🏙️ Hybrid: 4 days in the office
📝 Employment type: Permanent, full-time (3-month probationary period)

You'll oversee production timelines, manage our supply chain relationships, maintain our quality standards, and coordinate samples across multiple product lines - helping us scale our business while maintaining operational excellence.

What you will be doing
1. Production Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor and track production progress across all purchase orders (POs) and SKUs.
- Maintain regular communication with factory partners to ensure timelines are met.
- Keep detailed spreadsheet reports on production status, delivery schedules, and PO performance.
- Prepare clear production reports and PO summaries for Production and Merchandising teams.
- Provide regular updates to the Production Manager on production metrics and potential delays.
- Analyse production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
2. Supply Chain Management
- Raise and check purchase orders in NetSuite, ensuring buy sheets confirm prices and delivery dates.
- Ensure factories adhere to correct packing specifications and export documentation.
- Coordinate shipping bookings and logistics requirements promptly.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and shipping agents to optimise delivery schedules.
- Confirm that suppliers make freight bookings correctly and on time.
- Resolve supply chain issues and escalate critical problems when needed.
3. Quality Assurance
- Organise and schedule QC inspections at production facilities.
- Collaborate with factory QC teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare detailed QC reports documenting findings, defects, and corrective actions.
- Monitor quality metrics and trends across suppliers and product categories.
- Ensure quality standards are upheld from raw materials to final manufacture.
- Implement corrective action plans when issues arise.
4. Production Sample Management
- Oversee receipt and evaluation of red-seal and gold-seal samples.
- Conduct thorough quality assessments to ensure samples meet standards.
- Coordinate approvals and rejections with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of all sample evaluations and decisions.
- Ensure production samples align with approved prototypes and specifications.

- Experience with ERP systems (ideally NetSuite).
- Familiarity with production management or QC tools.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Production Assistant or similar in manufacturing or fashion retail.
- Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners.
