💰 Salary: £31,000-35,000 (Depending on Experience)

📍 Location: Potters Bar
🏙️ Hybrid: Minimum 1 day in the office per week

Why this role matters ✨
As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will play a key role in supporting the Senior Merchandiser to ensure that products are planned, developed, ordered, and delivered on time to meet sales and inventory targets. Working closely with other functions in the business, you will help to optimise inventory across eComm & wholesale Channels to minimise stock risk and maximise sales potential.
What you will be doing 🚀
1. Sales Reporting & Inventory Management
- Track weekly sales and inventory performance, highlighting bestsellers and slow movers, and proposing actions to drive sales and minimise inventory risk.
- Collect and Analyse data across eComm & Wholesale to deliver in-season performance analysis, support Monday trade reporting and help identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Monitor and review SKU, collection and category performance against target.
- Monitor and review market performance (US, ROW, Wholesale), optimising inventory across each.
2. Range Planning & Trading
- Maintain and accurately forecast line flows, highlighting when rebuys are needed to avoid OOSs.
- Produce category level WSSIs to track and forecast sales, stock & intake across regions and channels, highlighting risks & opportunities.
- Produce and maintain category level ROS trackers, and use these to help inform decisions on width & depth of buy.
- Produce robust data analysis to support the Senior Merchandiser in range planning, forecasting, and seasonal product selections.
3. Critical Path & Delivery Management
- Produce, own & Maintain Delivery Schedule for use by wider team, ensuring launch dates are accurate.
- Work closely with the Production & Operations team to keep up to date with changes to the critical path & delivery dates, ensuring stock arrives on time for launches, key intake moments & peak trading. Flag any issues to the Senior Merchandiser.
- Ensure Range Plans are up to date & accurate
4. AdHoc
- Day to Day support of Senior Merchandiser
- Collate & Share competitor analysis to keep wider team up to date with competition
- Regular reviews of website to ensure optimal product positioning & correct product information, including pricing.
- Continuously look for ways to improve our ways of working - challenge the status quo, suggest improvements, and help build best practices in merchandising.
- Deputise for Senior Merchandiser when she is away
